TMJ Relief Report
Dear Headache Sufferer,
My name is Dr. Stephanie Aldrich, and I am located right here in Copley/Fairlawn, and even though I am a dentist, many of my patients refer to me as the “Headache Relief Doctor”, because I’ve been able to treat hundreds of patients for the headache, migraine, and facial pain.
The report was written to give the real truth insights, that most people have no clue about, and to tell you that if you are a candidate for headache treatment, we have a 95% chance of eliminating your headache almost immediately.
But first let me tell you about one of my patients…
When Marie walked into the door, I knew immediately that she was a chronic headache and migraine sufferer. The pain was evident in her eyes, and one could just tell that it was another one of those hellish days where the only she was wishing for was “relief” of any kind.
Whether it was medication, more sleep, or whatever, a migraine, headache, or facial pain sufferer prays for the moment the headache stops, even if its just for a few minutes.
Marie was in that place right now. Her husband, Bob, sat next to her with his arm around her shoulders trying desperately to comfort her. It was obvious they both felt helpless, and in their eyes you could tell this was one of the last desperation attempts to get some kind of answer for her pain.
They tried their medical doctor, who prescribed medication. Which worked sometimes, but it was always a short-term answer to a chronic problem. Then when they went back to him, he just said, “Well, let’s try another medication.”
“I’ve been on so many medications, there are times where I would talk with somebody on the phone and the next day completely forget what we talked about. I feel like an idiot!”
She figured out quickly that she didn’t want to live a life on medication, and she wasn’t going to get anything different from her family doctor
So, she tried going to a Chiropractor, taking nutritional supplements, meditation, and everything else she could think of.
After so many attempts, she felt very helpless and very alone.
As Marie put it, “No one has any clue what it’s like to wake up everyday knowing that the majority of the day, you’ll be fighting a constant, agonizing, excruciating headache, that just won’t give up.”
“When I go to family parties, they all look at me like I’m faking it for the attention. It infuriates me, but I never say a thing, because fighting with them would just make my headache worse. This is affecting the time I spend with my kids, and poor Bob has to take care of me all the time!”
In fact, one day Marie took her youngest daughter, Emily to her kindergarten Christmas play, and had to leave 1/2 way through it, because once the play started the headaches hit her so hard she longed for getting more medication and going right to bed, turning off the lights and lying in silence. A neighbor was kind enough to take Emily home after the play. But more depressingly, Marie missed the play!
Her husband, Bob told me that there were days where her jaw would lock up, and she would pry it open with pens, silverware, and the fear and embarrassment of this happening in public prevented them from going out to dinner with friends many times.
Now, I hear these kind of stories all the time. A beautiful, courageous person out there trying everything she can to get some kind of relief for her agonizing headaches, migraines, and/or facial pain!
It’s sad. Very sad, because most people do not know all their options to their pain, and what is actually available to them. Fortunately, Marie came in when she did, and within two days using a simple little device that I created for her…her headaches were gone!
Story #2: Nancy F. who had been suffering chronic daily headaches and facial pain for over 20 years. Here story was hear wrenching. She told me that she has been through what we call the “medical merry go round” for over 5 years and still had no relief. She had CAT scans, sinuses drained, MRI’s, half a dozen of prescription pills daily, ENT doctors, Allergist, Neurologists and Chiropractors.
She honestly told me that if my treatment does not work she really did not have a reason to live anymore. This was one of the most startling observations I have ever experienced since I was helping people with chronic headaches. It is amazing how many people are literally suicidal because of the pain they are living with.
Well, we made Nancy the same appliance that was made for me and in about 2 and a half days, Nancy was out of pain COMPLETELY. She was shocked, and frankly so was I.
I knew this had helped many other patients, but their situation was not as bad as Nancy’s. The joy and warmth that I felt knowing I was able to help this person who had dealt with this pain and suffering for so long was more than I can describe.
It has been over 10 years since we treated Nancy and she is still pain free. Since Nancy, we have helped so many patients overcome their pain and suffering from daily chronic headaches. We want to help you also. Therefore, I want to give you an unbelievable opportunity you cannot pass up.
While Marie and Nancy’s circumstances is very chronic and debilitating, chronic migraine, headache and facial pain can range from being occasionally distracting to totally debilitating.
Some sufferers have said that others cannot readily imagine their plight without having experienced it personally. Those whose symptoms are mild and infrequent may not even question the source. Others, who’ve lived with the ongoing battle, may wonder if they’ll ever find long-term relief.
They’ll be so frustrated that they think constantly, “What is the source? AND what is the solution?”
Many people don’t ask this soon enough, but the next question is, “Could it be a dental problem?”
It just might. See, a large number of cases involving headache, muscle spasms and jaw joint pain are absolutely a dental problem.
The Medical and Dental professions increasingly are becoming aware of the intricate relationship between proper bite and the muscles and nerves of the jaw joint. A very delicate and predictably reproduce-able balance must occur in the chewing system for total harmony, comfort, and stability.
Before I go on to tell you more about TMJ and about how you can get fast headache, migraine, and facial pain relief, and if you REALLY want to get rid of your headaches and start living a “normal” life in a short amount of time, then you need to first be aware of…
5 Headache Relief Misconceptions:
Over-The-Counter Medications Treat The Cause Of Your Headache
It’s almost criminal that drug companies are hiding from you that the headache relieving drugs they advertise don’t actually target the real cause of your headaches.
Here’s the real deal…These pills cover up your headache by simply telling your brain that the headache isn’t there. It convinces the brain that the pain is gone for now. However, this is the reason why after the medication wears off… Guess what? Your headache comes right back, because your jaw is NOT in alignment
For example, let’s imagine that you and I were on a row boat, and we started to get a leak in the boat. It was a small one, but every time we would go out, the boat would slowly fill up with water.
So, you and I would take a cup with us, and as the water would come in, we’d scoop some of it out. Even though we wouldn’t sink. We’d still have some of the water in the boat.
Now, as time goes by, instead of fixing the boat, we’d just bring bigger cups or buckets. But after all is said and done, we still have a hole in the boat.
Just like your headaches or pain, as they get worse, you take more medications, but when the medications wear off, you still have the cause of the headache. Which means it won’t be long until your next headache.
If these drugs actually treated the real cause of your headaches, then shouldn’t your headaches go away permanently? But they don’t.
These pills only put a mask over the pain for short periods of time. The REAL cause of your headaches remains untreated and that’s why you keep suffering.
Headache Medication Doesn’t Do Any Damage
One thing many headache sufferers don’t know about the drugs they take is that these pills are not 100% safe. In fact, a lot of the side effects you may experience are far worse than the headaches you’re trying to cover up for a measly four hours of relief.
You see, the way these pills disable your ability to feel headaches is to disable a little hormone in your body that acts like a messenger to your brain. Of course, our bodies, being the highly tuned machines they are, have figured out how to use these hormones for more jobs than one.
So if you disable the hormone from doing just one job, it will also not do all the other jobs in your body.
This can lead to all sorts of problems. You can get something as minor as a rash, or you can have sudden liver failure or kidney problems. Even aspirin has been linked to causing unknowing users to suffer from deadly hemorrhagic strokes.
It gets worse…you see, the more often you take these medications, the more your risk will skyrocket!
Also, medication seldom increases your body’s ability to respond to stress appropriately, and it usually decreases your body’s natural ability to fight disease!
Anxiety, Stress, And My Emotions Are Causing My Headaches
Yes, you may be the type of person that pulls their hair out on a daily basis, and you may think that is what is causing your headaches.
But being stressed, living with normal emotions is part of life. However, it’s not the cause of migraines, facial pain, and/or headaches.
I’d be will to make a guess that some of your pain is causing your stress, and then it just gets worse and worse.
Headaches Will Cure Themselves
“I’m tough. I can stick this out!” you may be saying to yourself. And each before you go to bed you hope, wish, and pray that something will change.
The most foolish thing you could ever do is to keep doing the same things and expecting different results.
If you truly want to get rid of your headaches, then you’re going to have to try something different no matter what anyone tells you.
What I’d recommend is looking for something that has been proven to work and looks to treat the “cause” not the symptoms!
Obviously, you wouldn’t have requested this free report if you weren’t concerned about your headaches. So please, for your sake, don’t drop the ball and not take action; because as you will in a moment discover, you will have a chance to get your headache evaluated, without any cost or obligation.
My Family Doctor Knows How To Treat Headaches
There’s a saying that goes something like this…
“If You’re A Hammer, All You See Is Nails”
Hammers hit nails…Your Family Doctor prescribes medications.
If you think they are going to give you something different or recommend something natural.. you’ll be very frustrated, because they won’t!
In fact, since so much of their training is based around treating headaches with mediations, you will continually be treating the symptoms and not the cause.
This in itself, is a major problem, because if you haven’t realized this yet, “If you don’t get the correct diagnoses about what is causing your problems, then how in the world can you get proper treatment?”
Unfortunately, you won’t! And if you don’t get proper treatment, the headaches will persist, and you will end up taking stronger medications.
This is a terrible cycle that Marie fell into, and I’d like to help you avoid.
h3.Your Problem Is Always Where Your Pain Is.
Even though you may be feeling your headaches in your sinuses, face, or on the top of your head, that doesn’t necessarily mean that is where the cause of the problem is located.
For example, many times when a person has a pinched nerve in the back, they will feel the pain in their leg.
One of the most common causes of headaches that do NOT originate in the head is called a “TMJ” headache.
For a large number of patients with facial pain and head-aches, the problem and its solution revolve around one of the most complex joint in the body – the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJoint). The condition is referred to as Temporo-mandibular Joint Syndrome, or TMJ.
It is not a disease: it is a simultaneous occurrence of a number of problems associated with the jawbone, nerves, and chewing muscles.
For decades, Medicine and Dentistry have overlooked the Temporomandibular Joint as a potential source of problems.
With today’s new technologies and increased understanding, dentists with specific, advanced training in TMJ disorders can diagnose and successfully treat the large majority of these cases: in fact, if a TMJ disorder is determined, predictable long-term relief is achievable 95% of the time—via a wide range of dental treatments.
You May Have “TMJ Syndrome” !
If you answer “Yes” to any of these 7 questions…
- Do You Ever Have Clicking Or Popping Of Your Jaw Joint (TMJ)? Cause: Lack of cartilage at the rear hinge point.
- Do You Ever Hear Grinding Sounds? Cause: Irregular bone surface at rear hinge point.
- Do You Ever Have Headaches And Migraines? Cause: Pressure of ball (condoyle) of joint pushing on weak bone structure at rear of joint.
- Do You Ever Experience Dizziness? Cause: Lack of blood flow to brain when blood vessels are obstructed.
- Do You Ever Have Ringing In The Ears And/Or Earaches? Cause: Pressure on ear canal.
- Do You Ever Feel Severe Pain All Over Your Head, Jaw Pain, And Or Facial Pain? Cause: Pinching of nerves by ball of jaw hinging at rear of socket (fossa).
- Do You Ever Have Pain In Your Neck? Cause: Unknown, however most TMJ suffers experience it.
If you answered “YES” to at least ONE of the following questions, your headache may be caused by a hidden problem in your jaw but there’s good news.
There is an amazing type of drugless, non-surgical care that may help you. You might be asking yourself what this amazing treatment is.

It’s in your best interest to get your headache evaluated soon, because if you wait too late, your condition may get to a point where you can’t be helped with this type of care and your only option may be…
INJECTIONS OR SURGERY
Nerve block injections used to treat TMJ headaches can include:
- injections above the eyebrows to treat that region of the head.
- injections into the back of the neck to treat pain going up the back of the head.
- injections into the side of the neck and or jaw
In more serious cases, surgery to treat TMJ headaches can include:
- heat to burn selected nerves of the small joints of the neck which connect each vertebrae
- burning nerves with heat about the face and neck
- fusion (removing a disc responsible for sending pain signals)
But Here’s The Good News…
While many patients who are diagnosed with TMJ headaches have the traditional symptoms of tension headaches, some of the patients who have the traditional symptoms of migraine (and cluster migraine) headaches also respond to TMJ headache diagnosis and treatment.
Now, there are headaches that don’t respond to specific, extremely accurate dental care; high blood pressure, low blood sugar, hormonal changes, hangovers, chiropractic problems, etc. These, however, are small in number in comparison with headaches that are caused by locking of the jaw, misalignment of the joints, lack of blood flow being sent to the brain, and pressure being put on smaller bones form the bigger joints. (TMJ Syndrome)
Most Headache Sufferers, After Learning This Relatively New Information Regarding The Benefit Of Proper Dental Care For TMJ Causes Of Headaches, Wonder…
“How Do I Find A Doctor Trained In Providing This Care?”
So, my best advice is to ask the dentist the following questions…
- “Do you treat headaches?” – Some Dentists do not focus on specific conditions, like headaches and would prefer not to. So ask the dentist if he or she treats headaches that stem from TMJ. Some do not.
- “Do you take x-rays?” – Call their office and check and see if they can evaluate you right in their office with x-rays, or if they will refer you out. Most dentists can do it right in-house. However, never let them begin treatment without taking x-rays and going over the treatments with you.
